1. Project status

Retouch is unofficial software, developed independently and on a non-profit basis. It is neither developed, published, approved, nor sponsored by Ankama Games, publisher of Dofus Touch. No partnership, affiliation, or endorsement by Ankama Games should be inferred from the existence of this site or this software.

"Dofus", "Dofus Touch", and related visual elements (including the iconic egg that this project's logo loosely draws from) are trademarks and protected works belonging to Ankama Games. Their mention on this site is strictly descriptive and informational.

2. Site publisher

This site is published on a personal basis, as part of an independent, non-commercial project, by its author (GitHub handle: HSEV).

This publication is governed by French law. Under article 6-III of French law n° 2004-575 of June 21, 2004 on confidence in the digital economy ("LCEN"), non-professional publishers of personal websites are not required to make their full identifying details public, provided they have been communicated to their host — which is the case here via the GitHub account tied to this repository.

3. Hosting

This site is a set of static files (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), with no database or server-side processing, hosted by GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages) — 88 Colin P Kelly Jr Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

4. Intellectual property

The launcher's source code is available on GitHub. Unless otherwise stated on the repository, no license to use, modify, or redistribute it is granted at this time: all rights are reserved by its author. The logo, text, and graphic elements specific to this showcase site are the author's own creation.

The launcher downloads the game client files at runtime directly from Ankama Games' official servers. This site and this software do not redistribute, host, or permanently modify any protected content belonging to Ankama Games.

5. How it works & limitation of liability

Outside the native Android wrapper originally intended by Ankama, the launcher applies community compatibility patches to the official client files. This repurposed use may not comply with Dofus Touch's Terms of Service. The user acknowledges using this software at their own risk, including the risk of suspension or restriction of their game account by Ankama Games.

6. Personal data & cookies

This site does not set any audience-measurement or advertising cookies, does not embed any third-party tracking script (analytics, social networks), and does not collect any personal data from visitors. The software presented follows the same principle: it contains no telemetry and transmits no data to any server other than Ankama's official CDN and the public compatibility-patch repository.

Standard technical logs (IP address, user agent) that may be collected for security or operational purposes are governed by the privacy policy of GitHub, Inc., the site's host. The homepage also queries GitHub's public API to display the launcher's total download count: this call transmits no information about the visitor — it only reads a public statistic already visible on the GitHub releases page.

This site contains links to third-party services (GitHub in particular). The publisher has no control over these sites and disclaims any responsibility for their content or practices.

8. Governing law

This notice is governed by French law, as it is published from France by an author subject to French law, regardless of the language you are reading it in. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, jurisdiction will lie with the courts determined under applicable general law.
